The deal, in plain language

These terms are an agreement between you and Bingo Fuel, LLC, the maker of AoA. They cover the AoA app at app.aoa.fit, AoA Pro and this website. By creating an account or using AoA, you agree to them. Effective October 18, 2026.

The short version

  • AoA builds workouts. It isn't a doctor. Train within your limits and stop if something hurts.
  • Free is free. Pro is $4.99 a month, $39.99 a year or $99 once, paid through Stripe.
  • The 7-day Pro trial needs no card and never charges you.
  • Cancel any time from Settings. You keep Pro until the end of what you've paid for, or ask for a prorated refund before you're halfway through it. Lifetime can be refunded in full within 30 days.
  • Your workouts are yours. Be decent to other people in groups.

Train safely

AoA suggests exercises, weights, sets and rest based on what you tell it. It isn't medical advice, and it can't see you lift. Check with a doctor before you start a new program, especially if you have an injury, a health condition or are pregnant. Use good form, use a spotter or safety bars for heavy lifts, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. You decide what you actually lift, and you're responsible for doing it safely.

AI coach notes and AI-built workouts are generated by a computer and can be wrong. Treat them as suggestions, not instructions.

Military fitness test prep uses the published scoring tables as best we can, but AoA isn't officially endorsed by any U.S. military branch or the Department of War. Your official score is the one your command records.

Your account

  • You must be at least 13 to use AoA. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should agree to these terms with you.
  • Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
  • One person per account. Give accurate information where it matters to your workouts, like injuries.

AoA Pro and payments

  • Prices: $4.99 a month, $39.99 a year, or $99 once for Lifetime, in US dollars, plus any tax that applies. Payments are handled by Stripe.
  • Renewal: monthly and yearly plans renew automatically and charge the card on file until you cancel.
  • Free trial: 7 days of Pro, once per person, no card needed. When it ends you go back to Free unless you choose to buy Pro. It never turns into a charge on its own.
  • Cancelling: go to Settings in the app and manage your plan. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting your account also cancels any renewal.
  • Refunds: on a monthly or yearly plan, you can get a refund for the unused part of your current billing period, prorated by the day, as long as you ask before you're halfway through it: within the first 2 weeks of a monthly plan, or the first 6 months of a yearly one. Email support@aoa.fit from the address on your account. The refund goes back to your card, your plan is cancelled, and Pro ends when the refund is made. After the halfway point, cancel instead: you keep Pro to the end of the period and aren't charged again. A Lifetime purchase can be refunded in full if you ask within 30 days of buying it; Pro ends when the refund is made. After 30 days, Lifetime isn't refundable. For anything else that went wrong, like a double charge, email us and we'll make it right.
  • Price changes: if the price of your plan goes up, we'll tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal, so you can cancel first. A Lifetime purchase is never charged again.
  • Lifetime: means Pro for as long as AoA runs, including future Pro features. If we ever shut AoA down, we'll give at least 90 days' notice and a copy of your data if you ask for it.

Your data and content

The workouts, notes and other things you put into AoA belong to you. You let us store and process them only to run AoA for you, as described in the privacy policy. You can download a copy from Settings → Download my data, or delete them, at any time.

If you join a group or a leaderboard, others there see what you choose to share there. Nicknames and group names must not be hateful, harassing, sexual, impersonating someone else or otherwise abusive. We may change or remove ones that are.

Fair use

Please don't:

  • break the law with AoA, or use it to harass, threaten or spam anyone;
  • try to get into accounts or data that aren't yours, or probe, overload or disrupt the service;
  • scrape AoA or use automated tools on it in bulk, or use the AI features to generate things that have nothing to do with your training;
  • resell AoA Pro, or share one account among several people.

If someone breaks these rules, we may limit, suspend or close their account. Where we can, we'll tell you why first and give you a chance to fix it. If we close a paid account for no fault of yours, we'll refund the unused part.

AoA itself

The AoA app, name, logo and this website belong to Bingo Fuel, LLC. If and when the AoA source code is published for self-hosting, that code comes with its own open-source license (the GNU AGPL), and that license, not these terms, covers what you can do with the code. These terms still cover the hosted app at app.aoa.fit.

Ideas and feedback you send us are welcome, and we may use them without owing you anything for them.

Changes to AoA

AoA keeps improving, so features will change. We may add, change or remove features of the Free plan at any time. We won't take away a core Pro feature you've paid for during a period you've paid for.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep AoA running and accurate, but it's provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, Bingo Fuel, LLC makes no warranties, express or implied, including that AoA will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, or that any workout will produce particular results.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Bingo Fuel, LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of AoA. Our total liability for any claim about AoA is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

You agree to cover Bingo Fuel, LLC against claims from others that arise from your breaking these terms or misusing AoA.

Ending

You can stop using AoA and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete My Account. The sections on training safely, ownership, no guarantees and limits on liability still apply after your account is gone.

Disputes

Please email us first. Most problems get solved that way. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah and of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer-protection laws where you live.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you keep using AoA after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel and delete your account.
